This is the second time we have stayed at this North Shore Beach House and it will NOT be our last. 

 

What is not to absolutely love about this property?  The view speaks for itself. I actually had to wear sunglasses to do the dishes after dinner inside the house. (Yes, there are beautiful full window height shades, but who would ever close those off to the lake view?!!)

 

I loved having an empty fridge/freezer and pantry when we arrived so we could load it up with all the food and items we needed for the week. Having laundry on site was an amazing plus as I didn't have loads of laundry to face when we arrived home following our vacation! 

 

We loved that there are so many areas to this property to enjoy. The outdoor side deck is gorgeous with the canopy providing shade for afternoon board games or a lunch time buffet. All our grilling took place here too and the guys loved hanging out grilling and cocktailing watching the boats on the lake. The deck on the way down to the beach is our favorite place to watch the sunset--and to wash off the sand from the beach with the outdoor shower! And what can you say about the beach?  We were lucky to have a lot of beach this year to enjoy during our visit.

 

The inside porch has two additional seating areas and the kids loved hanging out in there too. The dining table and living room provide even more space for relaxing and enjoying great conversation. Loved having the stereo to play our ipod music--and the speakers made it feel like a constant beach party!

 

Our kids loved playing in the sand area closest to the house- volleyball, soccer, you name it. We even had a group yoga session there. They also loved making smores in the firepit along the shore. The adults lounged on the beach in the adirondack chairs all day long. After dinner, we sat on the upper deck in the gorgeous wooden adirondack chairs watching the most gorgeous of sunsets. 

 

Did I tell you about the two bathrooms?  What a treat for our family of four- a kids bathroom and an adult bathroom!! 

 

We watched the fireworks from the driveway and didn't have to hassle with driving anywhere before or after the show, just walked back up the driveway!

 

The owners were great to work with. They answered emails and texts promptly and offered many good suggestions and information. We were greeted with two bottles of wine and felt so welcome and at home our entire stay!  We were lucky enough to stay an extra two days and we could have stayed the entire summer if only we didn't have to get back to our reality!  

 

This is definitely our happy place and we will be back.
